LibMate
Introduction:
LibMate is a web based Library Managment System which can be integrated with any of the existing web based system or can be used as a standalone application. It is highly configurable and scalable.
Salient Features:
- The application is so developed that it can work standalone as well as integrated with any other application.
- It allows for multiple libraries and branches to be maintained with the same server or different server.
- It allows for multiple media type to be part of the library.
- Library Item Issuing rules are highly configurable.
- Penalty structure for late return of the issued item are also highly configurable
- A libraryAdmin can create many different types of membership with separate issuing rules, penalties, etc.
Facilities:
- Notification to the members on expiry of an issued item.
- A member can put up a claim for a library item, all the copies of which are aleady issued, so that on return of such and item, he get the priority of issue.
- A person can request the library to indent a library item of his wish which is not in the library.
- Notification to the member when a library item claimed by him has been returned to the library.
- Notification to the person when an item requested by him is included in the library.
